Sunday 10th October Moving onto Assisi

Up and packed to get the bus to the airport to pick up hire car, Kia Cee'd SW. Easy route out to the A1 to Roma and the south. Good drive down and across to Assisi, only just over 2 hours


Route takes up through Assisi and on a further 6 kilometres of uphill winding road to our villa. Last kilometre and location very reminiscent (L & P) of our finka in Cordoba.
Wonderful views and so very very peaceful, after the hustle and bustle of the city (as much as we enjoyed that) it's a welcome change

 Villa owner, Jennifer is English but has lived here in Italy for 30 years, we feel she is probably an artist.

We popped back down to the local bar come restaurant come convenience store for a few basic supplies and a glass of wine and a beer and back to unpack and settle in.
Jennifer has a communal freezer stocked with homemade Italian meals for a small fee so with that and the complimentary bottle of wine we are well set for a bit of chilling
